Lessons in Effort and Hustle

This was Hoop Kids league last December 2025. As a parent, just proud of the defensive intensity he brought to the game — probably the most effort I’ve seen from him from the defensive end. Battled through screens, absorbed contact, and navigated under picks. Not the result we wanted, missed a couple of crucial baskets, and cried after the game.😭😂We told him to move on when he’s ready, but to remember the lessons from this game. CIT-U’s 12U PG, in my opinion, has always stood out as their best player, and fittingly, was named MVP in this finals game.🏀
